Skillshare Testimonial For Creators, Online Marketers And Everyone.

I signed up for Skillshare Because of free trial.

The afternoon BEFORE my trial was supposed to end I got an email from them thanking me to Premium.

Naturally, I was confused. It is normal for companies to offer free trials in hopes that you like the product enough to really pay for it. What isn't normal is for your company to LIE to you and charge you daily before the free trial will even finish, in effect tricking you and then quitting your money. I was furious.

I looked online and after 30 minutes of digging, I found a phone number for your firm (Red flag, exactly what valid company doesn't have an easily accessible customer service number?) . I called this number and it moved straight to voicemail. The voice on the research appeared like some stoned college child, complete with "ums" and "likes" (Red flag amount two). At this point I was freaking out because all these experiences were leading me to think this really was a scam. The only option left to me is to compose them an email through their website. This was 3 months before, and I have yet to find a response.

I am appalled at the way that they handle company (by tricking their customers, then dismissing their issues). They stole my cash without warning and are currently unreachable.

I went back to their site and even their advertising for Premium is a lie. It clearly says that your Premium accounts is cancelable at any time. What they actually mean is it is possible to cancel it so it won't renew at the next billing cycle (which is an whole year!!) . They Is Skillshare a Scam? Absolutely Not, But There Are Pros And Cons ... are crooks. If their articles were good, I'd have happily continued using their services, but all their movies are things I could find on YouTube or alternative areas at no cost. The only thing I an do now is spare others the hassle.

DO NOT register for your free trial. Should you do a bit more research you'll discover a multitude of different reviews like mine.

Go into Lynda.com or YouTube. Please, do not make the same mistake I did, and stay away!!

I wrote to Skillshare one final time, also it feels like in the previous 4 weeks they have really upped their customer service match. I got a biased response apologizing to my prior experience and having an offer to refund me all my money. This gesture was more than I expected, and I am grateful to know that individuals do really work in this business, and it seems they are listening to the negative reviews and trying to create a better company.
